The VIP door installs 'semi-permanently'. However, the latches for fastening it in place are hidden inside the jamb. No visible screws and no drilling holes in any visible location.

Framing of the VIP fits 11/2" to 13/4" thick doors.

Adjustable height for standard sliding door sizes:

76 1/4" - 78 1/2"
79 3/4" - 81 1/2" (Adds an extension) (additional cost)
84 3/4" - 86 1/2" (additional cost)
92 3/4"-94 1/2" (additional cost)

Fits right or left hand doors.
