| The Thermo Panel Electronic Patio Panel Pet Doors have all the features of the earlier Thermo Panel II panel doors combined with electronic pet doors manufactured by Ani Mate(Cat Mate). These are especially appropriate in severe climate situations where the insulated glass units will make a considerable difference to the energy efficiency of the pet door. Electronic flaps also perform quite well in terms of sealing and energy efficiency. First, they are made of rigid materials that are weather stripped. And, secondly, because they are normally locked, they are windproof! Use these when you want to let your pet in but not the neighborhood pets. The Small/Medium control in one direction. So any pet can exit; but they must be wearing a collar key to enter. A manually operated 4-way lock (in only, out only, both ways and neither way) is included also. The Large controls in both directions so a collar key is required to both enter and exit. For this reason, the Large is most proof against raccoons (an especially wily animal) and for the situation where you want to let a dog out but keep a cat in. Not available in a Quick Panel version. The electronic pet door is shipped already installed in the panel; not separate from the panel. Draft Stopper - Stops air leaks between the stationary and sliding panels.
